Overview

About the Shot Clock with Game Time

The MSXT12GT puts two clocks on one display: the shot clock and the game time. Players looking up at the basket see how long is left in the possession and in the period without turning to find the main scoreboard.

That matters most at the end of a period. The shot clock counts in tenths under 10 seconds, and game time switches to tenths in the final minute. Officials and benches get a clear read on which clock will run out first. The built-in horn sounds at expiry.

The MSXT12GT uses the same Microframe MSC controller board as the MSXT12, and that board takes both clocks from the Microframe scoring controller. When the operator starts the game clock at the scorer's table, the display above the basket follows.

The MSXT12GT is designed and built by Microframe in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. If your main scoreboard is easy to see from every seat and you only need the shot clock, the MSXT12 is the simpler choice. If you want game time right where the players are looking, choose the GT.

Game Time Built In

The period and the possession in one glance.

A standard shot clock tells players how long they have to shoot. The MSXT12GT also tells them how long is left in the period, on the same display above the basket.

Late in a close game, that is the question everyone asks: which clock runs out first? With tenths on the shot clock under 10 seconds and on game time in the final minute, the answer is right in front of them.

MSXT12

Shot clock only, run from the Microframe scoring controller. Best when the main scoreboard is in clear view.

MSXT12-RF

A shot clock run from a handheld key fob, with no scoring app needed. Best for gyms without a Microframe scoring system.
